Arron Asham KO's Jay Beagle Then Apologizes (Video)

Congrats Mr. Asham.  I really don't see any reason to apologize.  Hockey fights are a dime a dozen, but they usually end with the players falling on the ground and the refs breaking it up.  A beautiful KO is well worth a 5 second celebration and taunting.  Beagle obviously wanted to fight and if you want to fight and lose, you better accept it.

Asham went on to say “My gestures after it was done … I was into the game. It was uncalled for, classless on my part.”

Obviously there was an immediate concern that Beagle might have been seriously injured but after knowing he as ok, there was no reason to apologize.  Ovechkin was upset that Beagle got into the fight in the first place saying that he is not usually a fighter and didn't need to be doing that stuff.  Asham showed us all that Beagle needs to rethink fighting a little more next time.
