Pilot Lands Passenger Jet With No Front Wheel (Video)

DailyMail - This is the incredible moment a pilot
prevented a major disaster, successfully bringing down a plane full of
passengers - despite not having any front landing gear.




Captain Hooshang Shahbazi was in command of the IranAir 727 as it made an emergency landing at Tehran's Mehrabad Airport.




Knowing that any wrong move could threaten the lives of the 94
passengers and 19 crew aboard, the captain showed nerves of steel
bringing the defective plane down safely.

An airline spokesman said: 'Following
unsuccessful troubleshooting the crew decided to divert to Tehran's
Mehrabad Airport, where a low approach confirmed the nose gear was not
extended.



'The
crew subsequently performed a landing without the nose gear on runway
29L and came to a standstill on both main gear and the nose of the
aircraft.




'The aircraft was evacuated, no injuries occurred.'



Imagine how nervous you would be if the pilot came of the loud speaker and said you had to land without any front wheel.  I would immediately wet my pants.  I get nervous enough just taking off and landing under normal conditions.  




This pilot beasted the landing.  The nose didn't even get close to the ground until they came to a complete stop.  Remind me to get on his plane next time a decide to fly.
