I will start by saying that NFL Blitz for Nintendo 64 is in my top 10 video games ever made. EA Sports, makers of the Madden games and the only video game company that has an NFL license, has taken the reins.
A new Blitz game, scheduled for release on January 3rd, 2012, will feature cartoonishly oversized players, 1st-and-30s, with 7-on-7 teams, and the announcer from NBA Jam. Most importantly, it will feature actual teams and players. In 2008 Blitz: The League, was released with fake team names and players. You might remember "Ron Mexico" aka Michael Vick from that game.
This trailer makes the game look very similar to the old school Blitz games that we all loved. Obviously with the new school graphics and players. Check out the trailer below and let me know what you think.
