Last night LeBron and Durant finally met on the flag football field. Last month Durant had played in a flag football game with a local fraternity at Oklahoma State, and following the game LeBron threw out a challenge. LeBron backed up his words and his team won the game 70-63 over Durant. The game was played at the University of Akron and it was dubbed "LeBron's Flag Football Classic."
Durant's team rocked the white and orange jerseys to support Texas where he attended college. LeBron's team rocked the green and gold to support his high school St. Vincent-St. Mary. Seems like the more educated player would get the football game named after him right?? Typical LeBron wanting all the attention I guess.
LeBron played free safety and wide receiver and scored a touchdown on both sides of the ball. After one touchdown King James pulled out the gun shot in the leg celebration that Stevie Johnson did last weekend mocking Plaxico Burress. Classic. Durant played wide receiver and watched from the sidelines most of the time when his team was on defense. Durant did come up with one pick six while on defense.
The video below shows LeBron and Durant warming up before the game and Durant making an awesome leaping catch over a defender. The actual game video can be found on YouTube, but was uploaded in four different videos that equal around an hour. Check out the video below and the links to the full game.
