The Cardinals Patrick Peterson returned a game winning touchdown from the 1 yard line to win the game 19-13 over the Rams in overtime. This was one of the sloppier games I have seen on the stat sheet. Larry Fitzgerald scored the only touchdown in regulation in the fourth quarter to take the game to overtime. The first five scores in the game game from field goals, followed by the Rams causing two strait safety's. Looked more like a baseball game.

Peterson most likely would have gotten yelled at and benched for catching the ball on the one yard line if he hadn't taken the ball back for a touchdown. Most coaches teach to let the ball go into the end zone. Peterson wanted to get on sports center though, and capped off the game with this wild return.
