Alexander McCrae had recently started a professional career in MMA and aimed to go full-time. He trained with Dinky Ninja Fight Team in Dumbarton and had moved there from his parents’ home in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire.
This story was from a couple days back, but I had to drop a line on it. I thought for sure this guy was pulling a Rocky Balboa and punching the cow carcass for his training. Nope, the guy actually just worked in the slaughterhouse when he was hit by the carcass.
It is believed Ally suffered a heart attack when a
carcass fell from a hook on a conveyor system and hit him on the head.
The Health and Safety Executive are probing Thursday’s tragedy.
Wow, what a bad way to go. I feel like work accidents are the worst. I mean you already hate working everyday for the rest of your life then you have something crazy like this take you out. You gotta feel bad for his friends and family. R.I.P.
