Bob Costas Gives Us His Thoughts on the Current State of NFL Touchdown Celebrations. (Video)

Personally I can watch these fools do touchdown celebrations all day long.  Stevie Johnson went a little overboard yesterday when he mocked Plaxico Burress shooting himself in the leg.  Ultimately the celebration hurt his team and later in the game Johnson missed a couple easy catches that he admitted lost his team the game.  Lots of people believe Johnson is more worried about making himself look good than helping his team win games.  Bob Costas decided to take the issue one on one and let us know how bad the game of football has become lately in regards to the celebrations. He compares the normal "spike" that players use to do back in the day to the off the wall celebrations we see now.  Can't say I would disagree that a lot of players play for themselves and not the team, but I wouldn't wanna give up the great celebrations we get week in and week out for a simple spike.
