Meet Gerry Sandusky, the long time radio announcer and sports caster for the Baltimore Ravens. As you can imagine a lot of people have mistaken him for the child rapist Jerry Sandusky lately. Gerry said he has around 1,000 new twitter followers who all think he is Jerry with a J. Most of these people decided to follow him to talk crap about him and how much fun he's going to have in jail. As you can see on the snapshot of the twitter feed below he has spent a lot of time telling everyone they have the wrong guy.
Gerry also took time to thank his mom for spelling his first name with a G. I can only image his face when he heard the initial news of Jerry Sandusky and the little boys. His jaw probably dropped to the damn floor. Gerry has taken it well though and says he will continue to handle it in a polite manner. He finally dropped this line on his description tag.
"I am Gerry with a G. Baltimore sportscaster. No relation to the former Penn State coach. Views expressed are my own."
