I really can't say it any better than Tampabay.com did in the first line of the story, "Some might call it a financial smackdown." That had me crying laughing. Gotta love The Rock.
Hogan and his wife got divorced nearly two years ago, but the details have just been released so here's the run down. Hogan's wife took 70% of their liquid assets ($7.44 million of the couple's $10.41). Hogan also gave his ex 40 percent ownership in his various companies and agreed to pay her an additional
$3 million "property settlement," according to the filing. Linda Bollea got to keep a Mercedes-Benz, a Cadillac Escalade, a
Corvette, a Rolls-Royce and various off-road vehicles. Terry Bollea, who
had an extensive collection of vehicles, got the rest, though they were
not detailed in the agreement. The one thing Hogan can be happy about is not paying any alimony. Hogan also gets to keep any money he makes from personal appearances and the sale of his book, My Life Outside the Ring, published in fall 2009.
Not bad, he gets to keep all the money that he earns now. Ha, damn divorce is a bitch. Chicks pretty much get everything the guy works for. Not sure how or why it works like that, but that's how it's always been. Looks like the Hulk will have to keep doing his cheap Rent a Center commercials.
