Miami Marlins Set for New Look

The Marlins in an effort to get more than 7 people to come to their games are launching a new stadium, new logo, and new name in 2012. They will now be named the Miami Marlins. Check out the new logo above and let me know what you think.  Looks pretty metro if you ask me, maybe that's what the Miami people are into these days.

The future home of the Marlins will be a first-class baseball stadium
that will be owned by Miami-Dade County. It will be constructed on
approximately 17 acres of the historic 42-acre Orange Bowl site in the
Little Havana section of Miami. The ballpark will have a retractable
roof, a natural grass playing field and 37,000 seats.  The park is set to be finished sometime in March of 2012.  Once complete the cost will be around $550 million.  Check out this video of Marlins President David Samson giving a tour of the new park.  The Marlins open against St. Louis at home on April 4th.
