Lesnar Says He's 100% for Overeem Fight

People have questioned Lesnar's weight and health after his second bout with diverticulitis.  Lesnar put those rumors to rest at the ticket sale conference today for UFC 141.  When asked if he was healthy and how much he weighed he responded with 100% healthy and 278 pounds.  This is around his usual weight, so everything should be good to go.  He will be cutting around 10 pounds on the day of the fight which for him might just be a quick trip to the sauna.  Overeem was also asked about his rib injury that forced him to pull out of the Strikeforce Heavyweight Tournament, but confirmed that he is also 100% and happy to be in the UFC.  This will be his first UFC fight.  Hopefully Brock can give him a not so warm welcome.

Overeem recently moved to the United States after he signed with the UFC.  He is currently training with Extreme Couture a former trainer partner of Brock.  Brock responded by saying it is a free country and he can train where he wants.  He also added that he doesn't think it will make a difference.  I'm not sure I can agree with him 100% being that Randy Couture has trained with him first hand and can give Overeem a few tips along the way.

When asked who they are picking for tomorrow nights title fight, both fighters picked Cain Valasquez stating that he is the more rounded fighter.

Dana White seemed very happy about having Lesnar back in the ring and agreed that he is a huge Pay Per View sale.  The heavyweight division is stacked right now and it should be interesting to see how it unfolds.
