Jared Allen substituted as the long snapper two weeks ago when the Vikings played the Falcons. A video has started to circulate of him punching Falcons player Ray Edwards in the wiener. This is what Allen had to say about the situation.
“Ray is obviously a former teammate and friend of mine. I told him
before the snap that he’s known for blowing up the long snapper on the
field goal,” Allen said.”
“So I told him: ‘You run me over here, I’m going to punch you square in your wiener, dude.’”
I don't care if you've known this guy for your whole life, If I was Edwards I woulda beat the crap out of Jared Allen. Hitting someone where the sun don't shine is just wrong. The one thing I can say for Allen is that he could've hit him a lot harder than he did, but ever guy with a pair knows that the smallest tap can hurt as bad as a full soccer kick when it comes to the prized possessions.
