If You Hit the Gas Instead of the Breaks, Make Sure An Indian Restaurant Isn't Right In Front of You (Video)

ABC - A car whose driver told police she mistakenly hit the gas pedal instead of the brake careened into a San Diego-area restaurant , scattering diners.

The car, a 2000 tan Honda driven by a female driver, shattered a glass window and landed inside the Indian-food restaurant.

Raj Patel, the restaurant’s owner, told ABC News he
was working in the kitchen when he heard the crash. “There were another
two ladies sitting right in the middle,” Patel said of the scene in his
restaurant right before the crash.  “When the car hit that table, the
table went up high and the two people went flying.”

The two women Patel saw sent flying were among three people who
suffered minor injuries in the crash.  The other was a man who was hit
while walking out the door. “He got pushed into the door and got thrown
back … and landed on the floor,” Patel said.

Wow, I feel like we have all done this at some point.  When I say done this I don't mean drive through an Indian Restaurant, I mean we have all accidentally hit the gas instead of the brakes.  The craziest part is the man walking out of the store left with minor injuries.  Literally thought that dude was dead.  He got strait ran over and tossed like a rag doll.  Nothing like eating rubber when all you wanted was some Tandoori Chicken.
