25,003 to be exact. The Calgary Hitmen are in their 17th year of this tradition. Every year they have a Teddy Bear Toss to raise money for local hospitals. The teddy bears will also be hand delivered to local hospitals around this holiday season. The video below shows this years toss, but 2007 was even bigger holding the record at 26,919 teddy bears. It's pretty crazy to see that many bears being tossed from the stands, I just feel bad for the crew that has to clean them up.
