Ken Griffey Jr's. Son Trey Makes All-American Team in Football (Video)



Is it bad I had no idea until today that Griffey even had a son?  Well he does, and his name is Trey Griffey.  He is a star wide receiver at his high school Dr. Phillips High in Orlando.  He has scholarships offers from Michigan State, Iowa State and Washington State and interest from Oregon, Tennessee and UCLA.  Not a bad lineup. Not to mention he was just named to the Under Armour All-American Game.  Hard to imagine that Griffey (who possessed one of the best swings in baseball history) would have a son that's wasn't athletic.  But to make it to the All-American game in a sports other than baseball is something to talk about.  The perfect way to get out of your father's shadows which plagues a lot of kids who have famous fathers.  Some of his High School highlights are in the video below.
