Jon Jones Beats Lyoto Machida to Retain Light Heavyweight Title

Jon Jones impressed once again with a victory over Lyoto Machida at UFC 140 to retain his title.  Machida came out boxing and landed a couple impressive shots on Jones that seemed to win him the first round.  Jones came back in the second round and took Machida to the ground where he landed an elbow that stopped the fight, because of the deepness of the cut.  The ref decided to let them keep fighting, but soon after Jones would lock in a standing guillotine choke that would win him the fight.  Machida passed out while standing up and Jones was the only thing holding him up until the ref stopped the fight.  Jones proved once again that he's one of the most well rounded fighters in MMA, and possibly the best pound for pound fighter in the UFC.  You can check out the rest of the UFC 140 results here.
