Anytime you have a close game on your hands you want Gus Johnson behind the microphone. Luckily for us the Wisconsin vs. Michigan State game was just that. Wisconsin ended up winning the game 42-39. The best call of the game came on this lateral from Keith Nichol to B.J. Cunningham for a touchdown. Everyone, including Gus thought the play was over until Nochol got a little crazy and lateraled the ball backward giving Cunningham plenty of room to run into the end zone. This got Gus going wild, and on top of that Michigan State pulled off a fake extra point and got the two point conversion. Wild night for Gus and the Spartans.
