Boxing legend Joe Frazier died Monday night after a brief fight with cancer at age 67. "I will always remember Joe with respect and admiration," Ali said in a
statement. "My sympathy goes out to his family and loved ones."
Frazier was the first man to beat Ali in 1971 at Madison Square Garden. Frazier landed a left hook that knocked down Ali in what he described as "That was the greatest thing that ever happened in my life."
This is one of the greatest fights in boxing history and seems like the appropriate time to watch it. Neither fighter would back down from the other, reminding me of Rocky vs. Apollo, something you would think would only be possible in a movie.
