Rex is at it again. The Jets lost big to the Patriots 37-16 last night and Rex wasn't happy. On his way off the field he proceeded to tell a fan to "shut the fuck up." Pretty classy move after the fan yelled something about Bill Belichick owning him. Rex has never been one to hold back emotions and he didn't let us down this time either.
This seems fitting, because we also got a quote from Belichick to his son after the game last night where he said “Thirty-seven points on the best defense in the league, suck my dick.” (NYP) Sounds like the fan was right when he said Belichick owned you Rex.
Rex didn't let us down though, he had another prediction for his Jets this season. “What am I going to say?” Rex asked. “Maybe I should guarantee the fact
that we’re out of it. Last time I did that [in 2009], we made the
playoffs. So yeah, we’ve got no chance.”
Rex in a desperation move is going with the reverse psychology on his team trying to change it up. He usually just guarantees a super bowl, but we all know how that works out for him. Special thanks to the coaches last night for cursing up a storm.
