This 85-year-old grandma reeled in a 850 pound marlin like a boss. Connie Laurie reeled in a huge black marlin on a charter trip outside Cooktown, north of Cairns.
"I certainly didn't feel 85 when I was bringing it in, I was too busy
concentrating on keeping it on and getting it into the boat."
"I try to stay active and as I said, I've always loved fishing and I want to continue doing it down on the Gold Coast."
I just hope when I'm 85 I can make it to the damn bathroom to piss, and this super GMA is bringing in 850 pounds worth of marlin. Surprised she can even hold that fishing pole up, that thing looks 100 pounds itself.
