Un-ranked Iowa beat #15 Michigan today, but not without a controversial TD call that could have lost Michigan the game. Michigan was down by 8 with 12 seconds on the clock. They made what looked to me like a touchdown catch with 7 seconds left on the clock. The play was called incomplete and then reviewed. The call on the field stood. They said that the ball hit the ground which resulted in a not catch. Michigan then followed with two incomplete passes that ended the game.
You can blame the ref's, but it was really the play calling. Your on the two yard line and you have the best running QB in the nation. You gotta run a bootleg and let him walk in the end zone. They also would have had to go for two anyway. The play did look like a score to me though. Take a look and judge for yourself.
