Aroldis Chapman Hits 106 MPH On Cincy Radar Gun

During the 9th inning last night, Chapman threw a ball that registered at 105 mph and 106 mph on two separate radar guns. The 22 year-old lefty from Cuba clocked in at 105 mph last year as well, but reportedly topped out in the low 90's early this week causing manager Dusty Baker to rest him for a few days.

I will not accuse the Reds of having juiced guns because I remember a few years ago in the World Baseball Classic where this kid was reportedly hitting triple digits with regularity. The fact that he has hit 105 plus on separate occasions with different guns leads me to believe that this is legit. Imagine getting ear-holed with one of those missiles. See the video at MLB.com
