Clint Dempsey Leads the USA to 1-0 Victory Over Italy (Video)

The Unites States has beaten Italy for the first time ever in soccer.  Clint Dempsey lead the USA to a 1-0 victory with a goal in the 55th minute.  The assist came from Jozy Altidore just inside the penalty area where Dempsey would then score past goal keeper Gianluigi Buffon.  The Americans had been 0-7-3 against Italy, getting outscored 32-4.  This marks the fourth strait victory for the US team.  You can check out the Dempsey goal in the video below.

ECHL Coach Goes Crazy, Throws Everything in Sight Onto Hockey Rink (Video)

Meet Nick Vitucci, head coach of the Toldeo Walleye, an ECHL team.  The craziness started after Toledo's Joey Ryan fought Ryan Schnell of the Wheeling Nailers during Saturdays game.  Vitucci felt Schnell instigated the fight against Toledo's top defense-man with the Walleye down three goals in the third period. So the
coach chucked three water bottles, a stick and a clipboard onto the ice.  Nothing like a hockey game huh?  I mean the coach will probably get what, a one game suspension?  True gentleman's game.  Roger Goodell would have given him about a three year suspension.

Danica Patrick Yearkbook Picture

So this yearbook picture of Danica Patrick popped up all around the internet today and my immediate reaction was she looked like someone I've seen on TV before.  I did a couple searches of the first two people I thought of and basically she looks exactly like DJ Tanner from Full House and Kelly Kapowski from Saved By the Bell morphed together into one.  Boom goes the dynamite.

Pretty Sure Landry Fields Just Sang Travie McCoy's Billionaire Better Than He Ever Did (Video)

So this went down at a New York Knicks fan event last night and I'm sure nobody knew how good of a singer Landry Fields was.  He randomly belts out Billionaire by Travie McCoy and it sounds twice as good as the real thing.  Get this man on American Idol asap.

Carlos Boozer Dunked All Over Chris Kaman Last Night (Video)

The second half of the NBA season got under way last night and the Bulls vs. Heat debate is in full force.  Miami and Chicago sit atop the Eastern Conference and there isn't much debate that one of them will make it to the finals.  Last night the Bulls started their second half of the season with a win over the Hornets capped off by a huge Carlos Boozer dunk on Chris Kaman.  Boozer will be a huge piece to the puzzle if the Bulls make it to the Championship.  Some people (including myself) thought he played pretty weak in the playoffs last year and expect him to step it up a little more this time around.  Hopefully he can step up to the task.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. Races Brad Keselowski To Bathroom During Daytona 500 (Video)

We all know racers hold their bathroom urges during races, but this video just proves in once and for all. Dale Earnhardt Jr. might have come in second during the Daytona 500 this past weekend, but he came in first in his race with Brad Keselowski to the porter potty.  The race happened during the two hour delay that was caused by the Juan Pablo Montoya crash.  Luckily for Jr. he was the faster man that day as Keselowski probably had some cleaning to do when he got home.  Check the porter potty race out in the video below.

Donald Driver To Join Dancing With the Stars

 Clearly my first thought was Aaron Rodgers has perfected the discount double check move, how is he not dancing with the stars?  Then I thought about Greg Jennings being able to put the team on his back.  Donald Driver would have been my third pick from the Packers, but hey nobody is going to live up to Kurt Warner on the dance floor anyway.

This Daytona 500 Dale Earnhardt Tattoo is Pretty Awesome

So Earnhardt Jr. came in second in last nights Daytona 500, but his dad always comes in first on this guys arm.  Usually I'm not a big fan of sports tattoos basically because they are usually ugly, but this one isn't so bad.  At least he went out of the box and didn't just get a persons face on his shoulder like most people.  RIP Dale.

Havoc Wreaks at Daytona 500 as Kenseth Wins (Videos)

So we saw Danica Patrick make it through one lap at the Daytona 500 along with multiple other drivers, then we saw Juan Pablo Montoya crash into a jet dryer and cause a huge explosion which delayed the race two hours.  In the end Matt Kenseth won the race followed by Dale Earnhardt Jr. in second.  The Danica Patrick crash along with the Juan Pablo Montoya crash are below if you missed either one.

Mississippi State Running Back Vick Ballard Falls During 40-Yard Dash (Video)

Mississippi State Running Back Vick Ballard had a little trouble staying upright over the weekend running his 40-yard dash.  He falls at the 10 yard marker and knocks over the automatic timer.  Luckily for him he gets more than one shot.

Pete Weber Goes Crazy After PBA US Open Victory (Video)

“Who do you think you are? I AM!”  Was the line heard around the bowling world last night.  So basically 12 people heard Pete Weber say it.  Bowling is clearly a hobby, but this celebration brings it front and center in the sports world for today.  Weber won the US Open on his last throw by one pin.  Congrats bro, but it's still bowling.

Dwayne Wade Breaks Kobe's Nose (Video)

Dwayne Wade threw a pretty hefty forearm to Kobe's face during the third quarter of the all-star game last night.  Here is the word from the injury.



NBA - Lakers guard Kobe Bryant, who was injured in Sunday evening's All-Star
game in Orlando, Fla., was examined after the game. Results of a CT scan
revealed that Bryant suffered a nasal fracture. It is expected that
Bryant will be examined and re-evaluated by ear, nose and throat
specialist Dr. John Rehm on Monday when he returns to Los Angeles.




Wade must have been looking into the future and backing up his teammate (LeBron) who Kobe would later taunt for not taking the last shot of the game. LeBron showed why he might never be liked, and hopefully never win an NBA title.
