The Smoking Gun - Baseball’s first spring training arrest came late last night when All-Star Miguel Cabrera was busted for drunk driving. The Detroit Tigers superstar was allegedly so intoxicated that he actually swigged from a bottle of scotch in front of the sheriff’s deputy, according to a police report.
Cabrera, who was alone, was also heard saying, “I am going to fucking kill him.”
When a second deputy arrived on the scene, Cabrera was asked “multiple times” to get into a squad car. The athlete replied, “Fuck you. Do you know who I am?”
Miguel, you should feel lucky that you didn't get beaten with a nightstick after the "i'm going to fucking kill him" remark. Wasn't it Cabrera a few years back who said that he quit alcohol because he was fat and couldn't control himself? He's been at Spring Training for what, 2 days and he's already raging by himself with a bottle of scotch. To top it off, he looks like a latina lesbian in his mugshot.
