8 Inch Splinter Can't Hold Down This Guy

       This guy crashed on his bike in the UCI World Cup Final only to get back on his bike and finish the race with an 8 inch splinter completely through his leg.  If that doesn't make him a certified bad ass I'm not sure what does. The thing that baffles me the most about this story is that they actually ride on a track where something like this can happen.  You would have thought by now they could have found something safer.  Imagine that big ass splinter in his neck??  Check out the full story and more crazy ass pictures.  Full Story
