Plaxico Burress released from prison, Says it's a Beautiful Day
ESPN -- Plaxico Burress was released from prison Monday after serving nearly two years on a gun charge.
Burress
walked out of the Oneida Correctional Facility in central New York at
approximately 9 a.m. ET with his lawyer, Peter Frankel, and was greeted
by agent Drew Rosenhaus, who gave his client a big bear hug.
Burress, wearing an old school Phillies hat, a black zip-up hoodie
and shorts -- then met with reporters and delivered a brief comment.
"I
just want to thank God for bringing me through one of the most trying
times in my life," he said to reporters outside the prison. "It's a
beautiful day. It's a beautiful day to be reunited with my family. I
want to go home and spend some quality time with them."
It could be raining poop and it would be a beautiful day if you are getting out of prison. I am interested to see what he can do on the field. I doubt he will live up to Michael Vick's post prison game play, but I think he will be able to contribute to some weak team out their that needs a WR. Could he go to the Eagles and play with Vick? That would be a site.
