This is Rays shortstop Shawn Rodriguez fouling a ball directly in the trash can. A couple unruly fans get into a scuffle over the trash ball and the officials end up making them leave the ball in the trash can. I guess if they are that hardcore it was probably like being torchered knowing the ball is right beside you and you can't have it. Those old bastards are worse than the kids.
