David Kahn Accuses David Stern of Fixing the NBA Draft Lottery
"This league has a habit, and I am just going to say habit, of producing some pretty incredible story lines,"
We are guessing he is referring to Cleveland Cavalier owner Dan Gilbert's son. His son was born with neurofibromatosis, a disease that means tumors can grow throughout his body without warning. If you didn't watch the draft last night, the draft revolved somewhat around Nick Gilbert and where the Cavaliers would pick. "Last year it was Abe Pollin's widow and this year it was a 14-year-old
boy and the only thing we have in common is we have both been bar
mitzvahed. We were done. I told Kevin: 'We're toast.' This is not
happening for us and I was right." This is what Timberwolves President David Kahn had to say about his teams chances on winning the draft lottery.
Well David, I do agree that professional sports somewhat sketch me out with things like this. We know they are all in it for a dollar just like we would be. The only thing I can say for sure is that they did have two chances to get the number one pick, and they did have the second worst record in the NBA last season. That's why it's called a lottery, your not guaranteed shit. So sorry David.
